The term "Talking leaf" was how some natives describe newspapers. Since paper was made from plants, and was as thin as a leaf, and had words in it, they called them talking leaves.

Free HIV, Hep-C, and Syphilis Testing!
Through a joint effort of the Montana Two Spirit Society and the Gay Health Task Force, we were able to offer over 250 free tests and we have already begun our testing efforts for the year! If you are interested in getting tested for FREE, reach out and schedule a test today.

Being Thunder Screening
Join us at the show! We are partnering with the Roxy Theater this March 2oth to honor National Native HIV Awareness Day to show the story of Sherente, and her journey taking part in traditional dance competitions and going through life as a two-spirit person. There will be a Q&A following the showing with The Montana Two Spirit Society, talking about two-spirit identity and experience. We would love to see you there!

27th Annual Two Spirit Gathering
This year's Gathering will take place August 16th-20th! Registration will be updated and open on our website by the end of February. Stay tuned for more information. We look forward to seeing you soon!

This year, April 25th-27th, will be the Circle of Harmony conference. This conference focuses on the prevention of HIV and substance use amongst native communities. Topics of discussion include the ending of HIV epidemic, the Indigenous HIV/AIDS syndemic strategy as well as proper practices for implementing PrEP, amongst other topics.
This will the first in-person Circle of Harmony conference since the pandemic. Registration link below.
